A Chilli Paneer Recipe Test
Time to test another curry recipe from the range of great Curry Focus recipes. I was looking for a quick and easy curry to make seeing that I had a few things to do this Sunday and did not want to spend a long time in the kitchen.
This is an easy recipe and it looked like the finished dish would be great.
And most of the ingredients are already in the pantry. All I had to pick up from the shop were the paneer cheese and the spring onions. There were no hard to find ingredients needed for this curry.
Making the Chilli Paneer
Preparing the ingredients for this curry is ridiculously easy. It seemed that this was the fastest that I have ever prepared to cook. Which was good because I started the preparation long after I planned to do it.
And making the chilli paneer curry is also easy. Once the paneer was browned, everything went as smoothly as the recipe implied that it would. As soon as the paneer was ready, I cooked the curry.
The tasting team had arrived on time but I was running late.
Tasting and Rating the Chilli Paneer
I served up the chilli paneer curry with basmati rice about 30 minutes late but nobody seemed to mind.
The chilli paneer curry tasted great. This was a simple dish which was nice and light. Everyone enjoyed the curry and it received a taste score of 9 out of 10 with a spice/heat rating of “Medium”.
Make the Chilli Paneer Again?
Yes, I will definitely make chilli paneer curry again. This is a really tasty dish. I can see myself serving it up as a side dish as well as a main dish. Yummy.
