Chicken Curry Time
Chicken was on special this week so I decided to make a chicken curry this weekend. I looked at the chicken curry recipes on the Curry Focus website and decided to try the Argentina chicken curry recipe. I’m not sure what is so special about a curry from Argentina. The recipe looked pretty much like a Massaman curry recipe but we all like potatoes in a curry so that was a good thing.
The Argentina Chicken Curry Ingredients
There was nothing unusual about the ingredients for the curry.
I needed to buy the chicken breasts, coconut milk, red bell pepper and fresh coriander (cilantro) but they were, as usual, easy to find.
Cooking the Argentina Chicken Curry
There was nothing difficult about cooking the Argentina chicken curry. The ingredients were easy enough to prepare and the cooking steps were nice and simple.
The total cooking time for the curry was just under an hour and everything went like clockwork.
Rating the Argentina Chicken Curry
I served up the Argentina chicken curry on basmati rice to the recently arrived tasting team and we quickly got stuck into the curry.
The chicken and potatoes were well cooked and the curry had a lovely overall coconut taste. The curry was nice and colourful and was very tasty.
The Argentina chicken curry had a spice/heat rating of “Mild” and a taste score of 7.5 out of 10.
Overall, this was a very nice curry but it could have done with a bit more heat – maybe it needed a fresh chilli or a little chilli powder.
