* Ballater is a tiny village that has a large number of restaurants and takeaways in the village.
Yet again, Akbar’s features amongst the top curry restaurants in Scotland.
Mushtaq’s of Hamilton scooped TWO awards.
Shezan was once again the best in Edinburgh.
And Gulab Tandoori, in Irvine, won an award for the second year in a row – last year it was Team of the Year and this year it is Restaurant of the Year. Go Gulab!!! An interest needs to be declared here – Ray used to live in Irvine and still has family in the town.
As well as the overall winners, there are regional finalists for some awards and you can see them here.
Once again, we urge you to visit one, or more, of your local award winning restaurants so you can see why we make such a fuss about great curries.
