World Curry Festival 2011

The second World Curry Festival will be on again held in Leeds in Yorkshire and the 2011 festival will be held from 23rd to 25th September in Victoria Gardens (on the Headrow).

This is an impressive title for a curry festival but it may be justified because there were around 12,000 visitors to last year’s inaugural festival. It’s going to be interesting to see how many attend this year’s event.

And here’s a pleasant surprise – entrance to the main arena will be free. You can register for a free ticket by going to the World Curry Festival website and clicking on the “REGISTER FOR FREE TICKETS NOW” link.

The exact format of this year’s festival is yet to be finalised but it needs to be done quickly as there is only a month to go until this great event. But you just know that there’s going to be great curries to try, curry spices to buy and lots of entertainment with brilliant music and dance.

Keep an eye on the World Curry Festival website to see more announcements.
