Just a reminder that this year’s Diwali festival runs from November 5th to November 9th with the actual Diwali Day being on Sunday November 7th.
There are lots of Diwali celebrations happening not just in this country but all over the world.
With Diwali being so close to Guy Fawkes Night in 2010, a lot of official council-organised events are happening a week early on October 30th/31st.
If you’ve never been to a Diwali Festival celebration then you are really missing out. This is a joyful celebration and there is always lots of music, dancing, food and fireworks top make the party an occasion to remember.
So find out where and when your local festival celebration is going to take place (if you don’t already know then use Google to find out – just do a search with the words Diwali, 2010 and the name of your town, or suburb, and you’re sure to find something happening close by).
And when you go to the celebration, remember to smile and have a good time.
