I think that I’ve mentioned before that I’ve got a weakness for peas. I just love them. So it was a bit surprising that I’d missed the Minced Lamb with Peas recipe amongst all the great recipes on the Curry Focus website.
So now was the time to remedy the omission and try out the recipe.
The recipe itself is very easy to follow with only a few steps needed before the curry was ready to eat.
I forgot to buy some naan and didn’t leave myself time to make them (check out the naan recipe review to see how I made some great naan).
Anyway, the curry was ready to eat with less than an hour’s cooking and I served the curry on a bed of basmati rice.
The curry was politely eaten by the assembled diners but didn’t receive much praise. It was spice hot but was a pretty basic meal. I found the curry to be too fatty, which is sometimes a problem with a minced lamb meal.
The curry received a barely adequate rating of 5.5 out of 10 with a spice rating of hot.
I found this curry very disappointing and doubt whether I’d make it again, although I’ll still keep an eye open for curry recipes with peas.
